On a daily basis, Epic Kayaks Costa Rica offers touring and training in the southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula, including an opportunity for all levels of paddlers to enjoy time out in the ocean. For the more experienced paddler, Epic Kayaks Costa Rica offers intense training sessions. Push your envelope to improve your fitness, endurance level, and strength while experiencing the uniqueness of off shore ocean kayaking. You will paddle various locations with a chance to circumnavigate the crystal-clear waters around the island of Cabo Blanco Reserve.

Mal Pais is our home, we usually launch from the small boat harbour for our off shore ocean kayaking and sea kayaking , and either paddle towards the island or down towards Santa Teresa beach and Playa Hermosa, it is by far and away one of the coolest places on earth, warm water, baggies every day, the view from the ocean looking towards the beach and then jungle is sublime and unforgettable. The sea is clean, clear and alive, turtles, whales, flying fish, the lot. Truly the most amazing experience!
